Calendar Programs

Hey all,

I was wondering what program you use to create your calendars. I have recently had to get a new computer that was sent from our corporate office and it does not have a calendar program on it. I have to have them install one. He is going to install Publisher and I was wondering if that is a pretty good calendar program. I previously used Microsoft Works calendar to make my monthly calendar. Also what ever program I choose, I have to have corporate install it, needless to say, I just can't go to Office Depot and buy a program. Any information would be helpful.

Thanks

Hi, Publisher is a good program, most AD's I have worked with use PrintMaster. but if corporate is going to install and pay for support, dont give them any reason to complain, because the first time your computer has a problem, the computer guy is going to point at "that program the AD installed"...

go to microsoft.com do a search for templates. Look in the Office Area for downloadable samples that microsoft and others have designed. They have some incredible calendars and newsletters, that you can download, and edit to fit your facility.

thanks, Pennie :-)

Thanks Pennie for the information. However, corporate has the computers so "locked down" that we can't even change our own time on the computer. We have to email them and tell them every little thing that we want on the compter. Isn't that sad? So needless to say, I won't be able to go the msn's homepage to download templates. Sad but true.

I use Print Artist, It is super easy, you just type the info and it automatically sizes it for best fit, plus you can add your graphics. I really like it, we recently switched went to updated computer systems and the IT manager wanted me to use Publisher, and I didn't like it all, it's more time consuming. :-P

Thanks all for your ideas, but I think I'm stuck with publisher. I've used publisher to do newsletter in the past. We'll see how it goes with calendars.
