Guest Theresa Thorland Report Share Posted January 26, 2005 I suggest referring to: www.nccap.org Look under Instructor listing for your state and contact whoever is listed for your areas. If you do not have any luck with that, I teach MEPAP 1 in an independent/home study format that is NCCAP approved. Contact me at: dtntt@wctatel.net if interested. Remember that the MEPAP 1 or 2 are only 1 of 3 components for national certification. You still need a certain amount of continuing education and a certain amount of actual work experience with individuals 55 years or older. You can research which track you would be taking as well to pursue your certification at the NCCAP website. Good luck. Theresa

Guest Guest_Kathy Report Share Posted February 24, 2005 There are several, and I mean several, MEPAP Home Study or Online Courses that are available. ALL the Instructors have been NCCAP pre-approved and their courses are available for those that do not have an instructor nearby or are unable to travel. Go to www.nccap.org and click on "MEPAP Course Instructor Listing" and read through the information that we have available for you. Contact the instructors and see when they are teaching in your area. Also, contact instructors in other states as many are willing to travel if there are enough people who register! You could even get the course for FREE if you help sponsor the course and host it at your facility. There are a ton of options! All of the info can be found at the www.nccap.org website.
