How do you go about asking people like the bank to donate prizes or food when you do big things like that. because when i do big things i can get wal-mart to donate a cake or cookies and i and the facility have to pay for the rest and i am the one doing it all from decorating to serving the food. so what do you say to the bank and your volunteers to where they will help you out?

Well at our facility i have an activity closet that i can lock so i lock it up in there when i am not here. As for staff using the wii it is not allowed says our don do to that they could be doing other important things for our resident, just leave them games to the activity and therapy staff. You could also get a fire saftey box to lock it up in and then lock your activity office then hopefully it would be safe there, and or you could lock it up in your admin, office thoes are just some of the things i do sometimes. hope that helps

Hey i have took the position of an activity director at my facility of 98 residents and i worked on the floor as a cna for 3 yrs and now i have been in this position for about 3 months and i was in the same position you are in i am only 19 and no one thought to much about me being promoted to this position but you just have to work as hard at your new job and you did the other to prove to them that no matter what position you are in you do the best you can! Belive me i was there once and now i am starting to get some respect from thoes who that i as the right one!
