Hi everyone my name is Amanda and I just started in a new community it is a snf and alzheimers second floor the last activity director left and everything is up in the air she had taken everything off the computer and now I have to build the dept up again. is there any one whom can send or direct me to a site that allows me to get a calendar and use text on it thru the internet I have already contacted activityconnection.com but the co. I work for is a little slow on paying bills so I need all the help I caan get I have been here for 3 weeks and it is awesome except my budget. and If any new ideas on the calendars you use can you email them as well thanks alot hope share ideas with everyone soon

anything would be of great help at this point I seem to be getting pulled in different directions and I have made the calendar and would like the staff to do role playing and also let them know what activity staff are supposed to do in any situation and as for the activities they are to be following the calendar. I have Cna's working on the activity program and they have no clue what the activities are and what to do unless they are held by the hand and shown and I have been out there with them and showed them what to do and they still don't get it. I need help with this so I figured if I give an inservice on what activity staff are doing this would help them and me. thanks amanda

I also work for an adult day care center and I was wondering if there is any inservice ideas for the staff I work with. I know if they should happen to look at the Residents rights handbook or their poolicies and procedures they will realize that anyone whom does or does not qnat to participate is up to the resident and if that is not the case they are going against their rights as residents hope this helps

I need help!!!!! WE are becoming an ail under our ecc license this means that we are still having our dementia unit with higher functioning of residents there. Does any one have ideas for the calendar? I do have a calendar for our dementia unit and long term I need help with assisted living ideas that will still have everyone involved. I am stumped

hi everyone I am in Fl. I work for a health center with a dementia unit I almost make 34,000 a year we are going to become an ail under our ecc license and I am going to be expected to do alot more activities and all that's great I love my job and the Residents
