This is so nice to read! Kathy really has taught me so much the past few months. I am 2 weeks from finishing my first MEPAP and I will greatly miss it! I am looking forward to the MEPAP2 and hearing stories like this just reinforce how awesome this course is!!!!

Hey there everyone! My 'name is Kaylen. I am an activity assistant in a skilled nursing facility. I have been working this job since August and I fell in love with it! I started my MEPAP1 class in December. My activity director wants to move out of state to be closer to her facility and has talked to the administrator about me taking over the department. This scares me however I am very excited for it! I have 3 kids, 8 yr old boy, 5 yr old girl, and a 1 yr old girl. They are my world. One of my practicum assignments is to come here and interact with fellow activity professionals. So.... Here I am. I look forward to building some great friendships and connections on here! I sure have learned alot the past few months!!!!
