:-D Greetings! I am new to the position of Activity Director at an assisted living retirement community in North Carolina. However, I am not new to crafts and creativity! :-D I have been a crafter all my life, and am an RCNA. I am a former flower shop owner and craft instructor, and am currently enrolled in the Activity Director Certification program, Gerontology Ceritification, Alternative Medicines Certification, and will be finishing RN school in the fall of 2006. My first day as Activity Director will be Monday, February 7. I am so excited! I am happy to have found this site and I look forward to getting to know the board members. 8-)

Hi, Wilkesrose! :-)

Welcome to Activity Director Network. This is the most active AD message board on the net. We are looking forward to sharing ideas with you. Be sure to check out some of the other AD sites, too. Look at this site's web links page located in the upper left hand corner of this page.

Best wishes in AD'ing :hammer:

Hi there Wilkesrose. My name is Tisha and I'm the activity director at the SunBird Golf Resort in Chandler, AZ. I was just wondering if you could give me more information on the Activity Director Certification Program you're enrolled in. I'm very interested in getting certified. Any information you can give me will be very helpful. Thanks.

Hi Wilkes, I was just wondering where in NC you are working? I am also in NC. I work at a nursing home and live in Wilson. Nice to meet you, maybe we can share ideas.
