dwhite 0 Report Share Posted December 29, 2012 Does anyone know of any websites or companies that sell products that enable you to put your activity calendars on TV within your community? Anybody have it yet? We're thinking of getting this for our facility but are having trouble researching and pricing. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks, and a very Happy New Year to all!
angel4aml18 0 Report Share Posted February 14, 2013 we have a system called magic box where it is channel 25 on the resident's television that shows all of the most up to date activities and announcements for the facility. I was not involved in setting it up so I am not sure how it exactly works. It is a great resource for the residents but can take almost 30 minutes for it to loop back to the daily activities with all of the other information that has to scroll through. Mostly our independent living and personal care residents use the channel - residents in the health care center rely on staff invitations, calendars hung on their doors and daily sign posted by activity room and dining room. Good luck!
Pennie 26 Report Share Posted February 18, 2013 Another thing you can do place the info on a website. If your facility has one. That way family members can also look at the website & see what activities are going on.
