Hello Linda! Like you, I am working on the MEPAP I. I currently work full time in a Health Care setting (have been there for 5 years) coordinating the activities and finally have the opportunity to work on my certification! Feel free to ask any questions if I can be of help with activity ideas for your part-time position. What type of setting do you work in?

we have a system called magic box where it is channel 25 on the resident's television that shows all of the most up to date activities and announcements for the facility. I was not involved in setting it up so I am not sure how it exactly works. It is a great resource for the residents but can take almost 30 minutes for it to loop back to the daily activities with all of the other information that has to scroll through. Mostly our independent living and personal care residents use the channel - residents in the health care center rely on staff invitations, calendars hung on their doors and daily sign posted by activity room and dining room.
