Guest Guest_Diana Report Share Posted November 9, 2004 :-D :-D I asked a local high school ROTC to start with the raising the flag, perform a drill with their rifles, folllowed by a speech by one of our very own retired vets( a resident at our community) and to close our Veteran's Day Service some refreshments.Between each activity a member of the horn section (from our local high school) will play some patroic music. It is wonderful to watch our elderly veterans take great efforts to stand and salute the flag. You can see the pride in their eyes. Give the VFW a call.
