Diana 0 Report Share Posted July 31, 2004 Has anyone tried this concept or use it in their facility? it's basically creative writing. how many do you usually get in a group? men and women, or separate the sexes? here's the website I found it on : http://www.timeslips.org/resource.html
Laree 0 Report Share Posted August 2, 2004 What a neat idea! I would like more info myself. The website really only gives info regarding training. Maybe just a creative writing website would give us the info without having to learn to be a facillitator. But it sounds great for dementia residents! Lea7 0 Report Share Posted August 7, 2004 I offer a creative writing group once a month and give them a different topic to write about. When we meet they all read aloud what they have written and their articles are then printed in our community newsletter.
darlenebe 0 Report Share Posted January 8, 2005 Diana, I am a new member and I was going through all the previous posts looking for ideas for my residents. I loved the "Timeslips" concept and am looking to set this up for my residents. I have a feeling that this will be my best new, innovative program for 2005. Thanks so much for posting your wonderful suggestion. darlene
