I'm an ADC from PA working in a retirement community in the assisted living and skilled care units in activities. Presently I opted to provide programming rather than supervising. I had been in a high stress position and needed to get back to the basics..working directly with the residents. It has been a great decision!

Sounds to me that you are on the correct path. The goal needs to be person centered rather than group centered and it looks like you have the idea in the two examples you have given....Linda
