erna 0 Report Share Posted August 26, 2005 Hi everyone! My name is Erna, and i am from Rochester Hills, Michigan. I am contemplating for a long time to get a new job as a Activity Director. Currently i am employes as a Assisted Living Administrator, at a small facility. I really enjoy working with the residents, adn i feel like i like more to be around them, then deal only with administrative problems. I have a executive Director Certificate for Assisted living and also i am in my second year at University Detroit of mercy, pursuing a Master Degree in Health Service Administration. There are some positions out there for Activity Director, but i did not see nothing about requirements( as education), they only ask for supervising experience. I also have no clue what is the salary for AD. Can anyone answer to this question? I think this site is amazing, and more as i find new things on it, more i want to work as a AD. I look forward to all your postings and info. Erna
