Braydon 0 Report Share Posted April 7, 2005 I have seen the Nasco catalog talked about a few times within the posts before, and I finally got my 2005 Nasco Catalog. It's looks like they have some really amazing stuff. I was just wondering how they are on value, and timelyness of getting the product. And if there are any other catalog's you professional's use....THANKS!
Guest Guest_Kathy Report Share Posted April 9, 2005 NASCO Catalog is wonderful! There are so many items that you can't find anywhere else. Because I have younger residents, I bought their tape (at last years NAAP conference) and play it for my younger residents (30-50) and play Iron Butterfly over it. It is a Kaladiscope type mezmerizing type video that they just love! We also have the portable oven for baking in the hallways and have ordered materials from them for years! We get a ton of teacher supplys from Trend but they are also avialble on the internet. A few searches for Teachers Supplies should yield a ton of stuff! wonytineres 0 Report Share Posted April 10, 2005 I would highly recommend Nasco products... I am fortunate to live only 45 minutes from their corporate headquarters in Fort Atkinson Wisc. so I occasionally go to their store and the facility I work at often "tests" activity products before the items go to market. In fact, some of the residents you see in the Activity catalogs are my folks!! You may also find some useful items in the Nasco craft catalog and in their school supply catalog, just call their 800 number and ask them to send you their most recent catalogs from any of their product lines you might be interested in. Quick idea, you can order a simple incubator (around $30.00) and fertilized chicken/duck eggs from them for hatching at your facility-our residents loved it! Just be sure to have a home secured for the chicks.
