Pennie 26 Report Share Posted February 10, 2005 Hi.. look at this link, it is for the President of the US 100yrs Greeting Program. The pres will send a certificate to your resident, I have used this quite awhile back, I have not been on the site in sometime, so please update us on the site. http://activitydirector.net/modules/mylink...hp?cid=2&lid=19 There is always the grocery store manager, free cake and favors, with an honorable mention in the family newsletter, GoodMorning America Willard Scott 100yr old greeting, and the local news... check with the resident ... hippa regs :-)
Diana 0 Report Share Posted February 10, 2005 For ideas with my 100 yr resident, I got these: Print fake $100 bills with resident pics on it (HIIPA rules apply?), 100 balloons, 100 birthday cards, 100 cupcakes, you get the idea! Maybe a free visit to the hairdresser for his/her birthday; have a entertainer come in and sing serenades to resident! We have a Hospice group that came in with their Chaplains dressed as clowns (they did a wonderful job!). Contact Hospice groups, they most likely will have volunteer coordinator that can assist!
