KBaringer 0 Report Share Posted March 20, 2019 Hey there everyone! My 'name is Kaylen. I am an activity assistant in a skilled nursing facility. I have been working this job since August and I fell in love with it! I started my MEPAP1 class in December. My activity director wants to move out of state to be closer to her facility and has talked to the administrator about me taking over the department. This scares me however I am very excited for it! I have 3 kids, 8 yr old boy, 5 yr old girl, and a 1 yr old girl. They are my world. One of my practicum assignments is to come here and interact with fellow activity professionals. So.... Here I am. DanielleT 0 Report Share Posted March 20, 2019 Hi Kaylen, my name is Danielle. I also started the MEPAP1 in December and while I will not be the activity director I will be the assistant director. I too have 3 children- all boys (so you think I would be good at coming up with men's programs) I have an 11 year old step-son who spends 50% of the time at our house, I also have a 8 year old and 5 year old; so to say I am busy is an understatement as you know!
