pkc 0 Report Share Posted June 19, 2009 My residents are all fairly active average age is about 90 with participation minimal. I am considering doing a Raoaring 20s murder mystery party in August. Any input on this? Suggestion? THANKS! PKC

kayla 0 Report Share Posted June 22, 2009 i've thought about doing something like this. my residents are very religious and sometimes prude.lol. i wasn't sure how they would handle a "murder mystery." so i am currently talking with several staff members about some sort of robbery, maybe something like the old train robberies. i would love to be able to pull it off. pkc 0 Author Report Share Posted June 22, 2009 I like the robbery idea! I shall let you know if the "game" I get can be switched over to that. I sure hope it goes the way I want it to because I am excited about it! Know that our own excitment can help them get into it too!
heavenstar 0 Report Share Posted June 22, 2009 Great Idea! I went to a murder mystery dessert play at a local community theater last year and it was fantastic! They had very little audience participation... they played out the play and then during the dessert break, you had an envelope taped to the bottom of your chair with clues and a piece of paper that you fillled out-- who did it and where the murder weapon or money was hiding. Then after they finished the play, the person with the correct information won season tickets.
