Survey!!

Recommended Posts

:o

Any advice for our first State visit? We are in CA. We have been told to be as accomodating as possible but only answer as briefly as possible when asked questions.

Any suggestions from people in LTC who have recently had a survey? Anything particular they looked at more than other things?

Thank you kindly.

Enjoy your weekend!!

Do what you do at work everyday and you will be fine. Focus on residents who have triggered little or no participation in your raps.

Remember to ask for 2 forms of Identification.

Follow the plan of care.

Good luck, I am sure that you will do well.

In SC, they are focusing on the voter registration since it is an election year- make sure those ducks are in a row

Hello, I got this from a class I went to.

Know your tags.

Resident interview -ask Questions this gives you an idea of what the residents will say ask: what does the facility provide?, do you participate in the activities you want to? if not , why?, Are you informed and offered assistance to activities as needed?

Review resident rights in your R/C meetings.

Recreation Staff Interview: What is the residents program of activities and their related goals? What assistance/adaptations do you provide as part of the residents care plan? How regularly does the resident participate?

Citation Trends: Lack of variety-Calenders are not designed to meet the interest, cognition and social functioning needs of the residents.

Residents left in areas for long periods of time with out interaction, stimulation, or attention.

The Quality Indicator reportis pulled and inaccurate when compared to the independent, individual 1 to 1 logs

Lack of in room activities

notes and care plans do not match

lack of evening programs

residents are not assisted by facility staff to programs.

nursing not able to state the activity preferences for specific residents
