Weve heard from several asking the exact same question. Most are working from a hall way, resident in doorways, masks, hallway bingo, beachball on a string. Some are having a hard time being heard thru a mask.

Let us know what you are hearing and share it with us

thanks Pennie

NCCAP had a great video showing how to broadcast live through your facility's digital channel.  They showed how you can use the ZOOM app and a laptop to broadcast live.  Any ideas of what could be done with that.  I was thinking exercise, spiritual programs, music.  Any other ideas?

Hello, my facility is on lockdown as well and we are only allowed to do group activities outdoors while keeping the residents 3 feet apart. Any suggestions besides Bingo?

They are also not allowed to share activity items.

Thanks for the link! We do not have the ability to stream on the TV or have a channel, nor do we have any smart devices, tablets to do activities! I am worried the state will ask about what we are doing regarding technology.... we are of course calling family members with their own phone but not skype, etc.

I saw a great post on Facebook (Activity Directors Desk). They had their residents hold up a white board with messages to family and friends.

Some of the messages were: "I'm doing well; call me sometime; Love, Mom." " I miss you; I love you, Mom. " "I hope to see you soon! Love, Grandma."
