    I am the activity director at an AL and we have currently 42 beds. Luckily my paper work is not that time consuming; my problem is time for planning. :-)

    :hammer: At my assisted living home, the men are out numbered 6 to 1. I have scheduled men's breakfast for them once a month. Find a male volunteer that would enjoy a men’s discussion group. Home depot has very inexpensive craft projects it uses for the kids workshop. They are very nice and the male residents really enjoy the hands on. I am always looking for other ideas as well please keep them coming.

    My Alzheimer’s' residents love to fold baby clothes; we sit together and talk about the colors and the fabric.

    Does anybody have a template for a calender that can be downloaded online. Something that I can use for activity calenders for both AL and a SCU?
