  1. Eydie, My first question to you is there an activity assessment on all of your clients. If not there is your first problem. My best suggestion for an activity is my favorite which is Awesome Auction. Go out and buy stuff such as boxes of tissues, soft candy ( make sure to get some diet), picture farames, boxes of cards or stationary, packages of crackers, little purses, watches and gum. I always went to the local Dollar Store. Make big signs and hang them. Give each resident twenty five one dollar bills in play money. Pre count these and put a paper clip on each one. Then watch the fun start. Show the item for bid and start the bidding at one dollar. I've seen a box of tissues go for twenty five dollars. there's lots of laughs and some fun competition. If two people win on the same item then you pick a number between one and ten and the winner is the one closest. They have to give any unused money back. You can alsxo make auction bucks ($5) for a prize during Bingo. If you have any questions let me know. Hope this helps. FrostyJoey
  2. Sharon, I also work in a adult day care and made my own forms. Our clients come two days per week so each page reflects one week. It's four pages per month. The first colum down list the activity. Then we list whether a client was passive or active in that activity and then how much assistance they needed to participate in the activity.( independent, hand over hand, promt and cue or toal assist. It 's a good way to show how a client responds to different activities and if they are having any decline in their ability to participate over time. Hope this helps. Terri frostyjoey@aol.com
  3. Try searching for proverbs, smilies or famous pairs on the internet. Give your residents part of the proverb or similie such as : Tight as a ________________ ( Drum. Terri Beth Hoylman
