Hi Yes we use to do one for years. The resedents loved it. We included the dice game, the wheel games, poker, we had raffels for diffrent prizes. Take a look on a web page for casinos and you can do all the games. Just don't forget the drinks and food. We skimped one year and did even less the next and that was it. No More Casino no one will come. we learned our lesson never skimp on the food.

Hi I just got a promotion to activity Director in an AL from dinning room super. We are to were compfy cloths but nice. I were slacks and nice shirts or dress teas. I keep an apron in my closet. I also dress for the Special Activites ie. westran, luau and such. I will also put flowers in my hair or were hats. The resedents love them. I have found the guys like pill box style or just simple hats while the women like full or fancy ones. I were tread safe shoes and keep nice ones in case I have to give a tuor.
