Hello everyone!! I haven't posted very many messages on this board but I need some help. I am leaving my position as Activity Director at an assisted living facility to go back to school and get a Master's degree. I am having a "Thank You" party from me for the residents for all their help and participation. I would like to give them some sort of small, inexpensive gift to show my appreciation. (and so they won't forget me). If any of you have any ideas could you please respond. Thanks. Charleston

Thanks Karen, I actually did introduction interviews and still do when a new resident moves in. It's good to know I am on the right track. I guess I just need to learn patience. Thanks for the reply Michelle Randall

I am a new activity director at a brand new assisted living facility. I am wondering if anybody has any ideas of what I can do to get the residents involved in the activities. I am kind of new at this job and would love any input or ideas from anybody. Thanks Michelle Randall
