Hello Everyone, my name is Jana Johnston. I have made a career change in the last 8 years. Previously I performed HR orientation and OSHA safety training classes for a major company. I met my husband , an Occupational Therapist, and became very fond of the geriatric patients. I was a personal caregiver for 3 hospice patients. I soon was a volunteer at the nursing home, teaching Bible study classes, Arts and Crafts, and many forms of trivia. Many of the Activity Directors that have allowed me to volunteer advised me that this is my calling. After little deliberation, I decided to become an Activity Director . I want to make a difference in peoples lives. I want to see them smile again. I am proud to become an Activity Director.I will take my final on Monday April 9th, I am prepared and ready !! Glad to be a part of the Activity Team !!!
