I have worked with Pam Nickleson from Menorah Park in Beachwood and have discovered that providing my residents with Montessori activities was much easier than a few of the books made it seem. The ideas for a Montessori activities are endless and so practicle. I started my program with a trip to the dollar store and $50. The thing to remember with Montessori approach is that the activity which you have the resident doing must be failure free. Hi everyone, My name is Donna Mazon, and I am an ADC in Ohio. I have 13 years of experience in LTC and recently made the jump to AL. I love my job. I know that this is the reason that God put me on Earth. I am very active in my local and state organizations and have my own activities website "Donna's Activity Corner". I do need to find time to add updates though! ;-) I am also finishing up a book that will hopefully be published by Eldersong.
