Cathy, that is absolutely hillarious. Of course I hope your feelings were not hurt. Some of us do not have the best singing voice, but should sing anyway. After all, it is all joyful noise to God! Sing loud and proud my firend, it will encourage others to as well... I envy your energy. If you read my AC profile, you will see that I am 48, with four children ranging from 27 - 4 years old. Hello all, My name is Irene Ritcher. I am not currently working as an activities director, but did in the past. I have to say that it was one of the most enjoyable and rewarding work experiences of my life. I have also worked with disabled adults of all ages. I especially (as I'm sure most of us do) love the expression of happy recognition on the face of one dealing with Alzheimer's. I am currently working as a writer, and have written a short story about one of my earlier experiences as an activities director.
