Pennie 26 Report Share Posted March 27, 2004 Quality Indicators: Nursing Homes Quality Indicators (QIs) developed by CHSRA researchers are markers that indicate either the presence or absence of potentially poor nursing home care practices or outcomes. QIs represent the first known systematic attempt to longitudinally record the clinical and psychosocial profile of nursing home residents in a standardized, relatively inexpensive and regular manner requiring the expertise of only in-house staff. Stacy 0 Report Share Posted March 29, 2004 Does anybody do QA/QI reports quarterly? I have been trying for some time to see if anyone else is responsible for this. To me, QA/QI is a format that people know they have to do, but just don't understand it. For me, I have trouble coming up with an indicator every year. Now, I have to come up with an indicator to represent a number of homes and report on them. If anyone could help, maybe you you can share your indicators and how you track them. Thanks Stacy ;-)
