LIFIZGD 1 Report Share Posted February 12, 2019 At our community we are planning a Valentine's Day dinner for couples, family members and or friends. Earlier in the day we are having a a sing along with a music group that will consist of different love songs. 1ST thing in the morning all women will receive a carnation and the men will receive chocolates from the activities department.

Tinabaisley 2 Report Share Posted February 27, 2019 Hi my name is Tina Baisley ME1-110618. We are planning a Birthday party for 5 of our residents who turned 100 years old this year. We are having clergy, the Mayor and administration speaking. We wrote the president for letters. We are having cake champagne, flowers and music. The residents family are invited.
Sami 0 Report Share Posted March 13, 2019 I love the idea of getting all of those people involved with your residents turning 100! We have a resident turning 100 in November and I want to make a big deal about it too. I have my first Easter egg hunt that I am doing in March and I am a little nervous about it but I think it should be fun I know the residents will LOVE it! Pennie 26 Report Share Posted March 13, 2019 Hi Vanna For Easter one of the things that I always did was invite the staff & local community to come in & do a Easter Egg Hunt. I would have a bunny for pictures. There would be a few carnival type games set up. Food & drinks were made available -- for sale. Use as many residents as you can to man the booths & help with the sale of the food & drinks. You could also sell tickets for the games. Just be sure to let everyone know that the monies raised would be going towards a big ticket item that residents want. Like maybe a popcorn machine etc.
Momarshall 0 Report Share Posted March 19, 2019 Good evening, We do similar as posted by Pennie. We have an annual egg hunt, easter bunny, lots of candy. Families of elders come in and participate as well as members of the community. For our Major League Baseball opener we are doing a cookout. Hamburgers, hotdogs and all the fixins'.
