     This position is located in Pompano Beach, which has beautiful beaches, breathtaking sunrises and friendly hospitality. We have so many exciting activities to choose from. In addition to fishing, boating, scuba diving, etc., all within very short drives, some of the most challenging golf courses you will find anywhere can be found in Pompano Beach. We also have great shopping and great food in some south Florida’s finest restaurants. We are often described as a beautiful city by the sea.

    Our Wellness Director will create and promote a highly engaged active aging community by emphasizing a wellness synergy that aligns the seven dimensions of wellness, supporting a quality of life for our residents.

This position is a very strategic partner to our CEO and will be responsible for designing, engaging inter-generational programs, promoting the corporate vision, and helping to achieve the organization’s strategic goals.

 

   Qualified candidates will have demonstrated leadership experience in developing health and wellness programs promoting active aging, preferably in a life care retirement community setting. Strong analytical and financial skills, along with project management and computer skills, are also required. A Master’s degree with coursework in Health/Wellness Program Development, Gerontology is preferred.
