Hi! My name is Stacy and I currently work as the AD in long-term care. I absolutely love working with this population of people and feel blessed that each resident I have teaches me something new everyday! Outside of my job I enjoy LOTS of hobbies such as oil painting, charcol drawings, kayaking, hiking, yoga and fitness. I also have two kitties, Big Girl and Little One who are very spunky and love trouble. Some other things about me are that I love being in a position to help others, enjoy trying new things and exploring the outdoors. I also love to eat spicy food...India is my favorite followed by Thai and Lebense. Yum! I am super excited to become a national certified activity professional in the near future!

Hi all!  I am Phyllis, and I currently work as the Assistant to the Activity Director at Life care of West Bridgewater.  I love my job, and am on my way to becoming AD certified.  I should have it all wrapped up by September.  I enjoy working with my AD to come up with great activity ideas, implementing them, and helping to foster a great team.  Outside of work I enjoy playing piano, fitness, tennis, paddling, cooking, watching the markets, TED talks, TED-Ed, learning piano, and more.

Hi, everyone!  My name is Kim, and I work as Activities Assistant at Golden Living Center in Omaha, Ne.  I also love my job!  I started out as a volunteer: I completed my CNA training in June of 2012, and I volunteered at Golden Living to get some kind of experience working with the LTC population.  Three weeks later, I was hired!  I have been working in Activities and picking up CNA hours as I could.  I just recently decided that I wanted to pursue Activity Director certification, and that is why I am here.  I love planning and implementing fun activities for our residents!  I love interacting with residents and working to improve their quality of life.  I look forward to meeting others on this board!

Hi, my name is Fawn and I've worked in the Activity Department at a skilled nursing facility in Pennsylvania for 2 1/2 years.  I spent 12 years as a Corporate/Private Event Planner, I'm a people person, an artist by trade, who loves to be creative in my job.  I think it's important to be light hearted and approachable, compassionate, warm, and inviting.  I love planning special events at our facility that are totally over the top, kick everything up a notch, and involve everyone in the facility to partake!
