Pennie 26 Report Share Posted October 24, 2013 Hello Everyone, I had to return a call today to a AD. My call call was screened & was told that staff is not allowed personnel calls. After explaining that it was a in fact a business call I was finally allowed to be transferred to thew activity office. This is not the first time I have ran up against this. I have also had AD's tell me they are not allowed to get calls at work. Now what I am wondering is how in the world do you run you department if you can't get calls? I mean we are to get volunteers in the facility, plan entertainment, do special events, don't even get me going on the people that want to come in during Christmas. So how are you expected to run a activity department if you can't receive calls? This is a policy that should be addressed & changed, don't you think?
