Guest Guest_Rebecca Report Share Posted December 14, 2004 Hi Everyone! I'm writing from Toronto Canada and I'm an AD at a retirement residence and so far absolutely love it! This is a great site for us :-) Two days ago our residents began to show symptoms of the Norwalk virus and as of today the virus is pretty rampant. I've been told by public health not to run activities and sadly cancel all upcoming Christmas concerts and events. While I totally understand this and want to do what is best for the residents, I'm wondering if anyone has any creative suggestions for working around an outbreak. Has anyone worked through an outbreak before? What did you do? I'd like to do something for the residents during this time. Most are bored and aimless at this point. Thanks in advance for your help!
