kathyhughes 1 Report Share Posted February 27, 2013 Yesterday I saw a blog about March Maddness...now most of you know that I live in Syracuse, NY home of Syracuse University (Go Orange!) and that it is a fever here every winter and spring. Its what gets us through the snow storms and greyness! The blooger urged people to encourage the activity directors to get their residents involved events such as March Maddness and other national sporting events as well as community events. I thought about it and then stewed about it....see I know that you all have Super Bowl parties, who your favorite Baseball teams are and know that you all celebrate the local and national sporting events. I know that you all go to community events and I know that you all celebrate whatever holiday there is with gusto! So how do we educate the masses? I would love your suggestions....how do we get the word out that we are encouraging the residents to participate in national events and holidays?
