I am finishing my MEPAP1 classes in two weeks. I am so excited! I will be starting the MEPAP 2 classes in October. I am looking forward to having my degrees. On a personal level, I have a 26 year old son, I have a new husband of one year, and a step son who is 9. I get to start over! Yeah! I am having a great time in my life. I just started to ride a motorcyle, this is my second summer, love it! I have a twin sister who also rides. We are going, with lots of biker friends, to Virginia for a bike rally. Should be fun. I am looking forward to my vacation time, I work very hard. There is 5 activity staff members who cover 180,000 sq. foot. Lots of walking, but I hate to exercise so it works out. I live in MA and have been in the field for 14 years, so it's about time for me to get certified as an AD. I work at a long term care facility 174 beds, where I am the AD. I have seven staff that work for me! We have four units in our home long term care, short term rehab., and two dementia units. I am married and have three children 11, 8, and 6, two girls and a boy in the middle. Between work and my family there is not a lot of time for me but I love scrapbooking, shopping and seeing my friends. Hi! My name is Laurie, I live in Ohio.
