cindytexan 1 Report Share Posted October 25, 2010 Any ideas for halloween that doesn't cost much? It seems like everytime I have a party "there is no petty cash" I am tired of financing parties and having to wait to be reimbursed. That's ok if you have lots of money, but work has slowed down for my hubbie and I don't make that much money. I live in a small town and retailers are tired of people wanting handouts. Everbody wants a big show but they want it for free. Sorry I just needed to vent.

My suggestion is the mummy wrap game, requires two teams, a resident and staff member on each team, each team gets a roll of toilet paper. It is a race to see who can get their partner wrapped like a mummy first. the residents can be in w/c or not. 2nd game/idea, in our dining room where the party will be, we have a large cork board, I will blow up balloons and attach to this board to have darts thrown at them. If they hit a balloon they win a prize. 3rd. I put up a announcement for the staff to adopt a resident for our costume contest, prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners. 4th idea, for food at the halloween party I am having pizza, punch and halloween cookies or cupcakes. maybe this will help
