Yikes tall orders! Ideas please! Already planning on the yard sale. I know you will all come through for me. THANKS Hello, I can give you an idea that I started a couple of months ago. The residents are very serious about their BINGO on Wednesday and Friday afternoons. So I had the Marketing Director put together a flyer and and she delivers it to the nearby senior centers and popular Doctors offices in the community. I average anywhere from 8-20 members of the community that will come in and join us for the Bingo and desserts. The Marketing Director is responsible for the bingo prizes and the desserts. (comes out of the marketing budget). This takes place on the first Wednesday of the month, 2:00pm-4:15pm. From there we also put on a "GRAND BUFFETT" for breakfast once a month inviting the community to join us, and even make it avaliable for them to take it "TO GO". There is an omlett station, waffles and breakfast pastries. We even have a volunteer come in and play the piano. Upon the departure of our guests we give them a comment card. They actually send them in and it has allowed us to bring in more tours, respit care and even senior daycare. Hope this helps at least a little.
