jjspeights 0 Report Share Posted March 23, 2010 In my facility, there are 24 hr Nursing assignments (not Activity CNAs) for agitated, fall risk residents, which may include residents who would like to attend regular scheduled activities. What are the particular situations in your SNFs for these type of residents, do they fall under activities budget or nursing? Are nursing assignment CNAs able to attend with these types of residents scheduled activities? Pennie 26 Report Share Posted April 5, 2010 Hi I am not completely understanding your question. CNA's are usually under nursing. They do help out in activities, as all depatments are suppose to do this. If residents want to attend activities then it is their right to & staff should help get them there. As far as budget goes, usually SNF residents get billed for therapy, nursing & dietary. Not sure how it would effect your activity budget unless you are filling out the MDS on residents, for billable time?
