Hi, I'm Noell Hammer, founder of Art Without Boundaries and I'd like to share a recommendation with you about my art program for those with memory loss:

I can't say enough about this program! We invited Noell to come and I was totally amazed by the quality of the paintings our resident did and the long term effects for those who participated. We used the paintings for a very sucessful fundraiser, but you can hang them in your community or have an art show. Everyone benefitted. The family members were thrilled with the lasting memorial to their loved one. Our residents were so proud of ther work and loved the extra attention. The community jumped at the opportunity to honor their residents and responded generously at our gala, where we had an auction and the artist were honored. We exceeded our fundraising goals and even had a front page color picture and article in our local paper. Noell was fabulous. She reached the spirits of our residents and set them free. I encouraged her to use this recommendation to let more people know about this wonderful, life-changing program. I highly recommend it!

Hi, Noell! :-D

Your program sounds quite interesting and innovative. However (and maybe I'm not understanding it all), it is also quite expensive and far beyond the affordability of most nursing homes' Activity Budget. Most of us are limited to $100.00 max for people to come into the facility and present an activity. Usually the fee is closer to $50.00. My total monthly budget is only $200.00. Do you have something a little less expensive that can be learned and presented by the Activity Director? The artworks are beautiful. Is that done by pallet knife?

I commend you for your wonderful work and can see how it is a great benefit to the elderly. Keep pursuing it.

Best wishes to you,
