spartans 0 Report Share Posted September 7, 2008 (edited) We do not have a facility van for going on outings. If someone has a doctors appointment, it is up to the family, an Ambulette, and Council on Aging van to take them. I have recently began to use the Council on Aging van to transport us shopping. One adult per resident. I am in my second month of taking people places to shop. The cost of a resident using this service is fifty cents one way. The adult volunteers pay a dollar one way. I always drop more in their box because I believe it is a worth while service to the community. Edited September 7, 2008 by spartans
