Every 2 years you are required to renew: for AAC- 20 CEU's; ADC or ADPC - 30 CEU's; and ACC - 40 CEU's. KateAA 0 Report Share Posted June 21, 2007 For your ADC you will need 30 clock hours of continuing education every two years. For your AAC you will need 20 clock hours of continuing education every two years. For your ACC you will need 40 clock hours of continuing education every two years. You receive a renewal notice 90 days before your certification renewal is due. You need to send it in as soon as possible as it takes 6-8 weeks to process it. If you have not updated your information, especially your address, you might not receive your renewal notice. So you need to e-mail NCCAP at info@nccap.org with your address or name change. There is a NCCAP renewal form on their website that you can also use to renew your certification. Mind you, there are late fees for processing a renewal if you don't get it in on time. If you drop your certification you will need to apply again under whatever the NCCAP current standards are. Some folks let it slide and then find out that they have to meet the new standards.
