trixiedg 0 Report Share Posted June 14, 2007 I have to create a resident support group and a life review/reminisce group for the MEPAP course I am taking. I am at a loss for a name for these. I need something catchy so the residents will want to participate. I also need ideas for the life review/reminisce group. I have to use props such as food, pictures, magazines, etc. I attended an Alzheimers Association meeting a couple of years ago and they discussed a reminisce activity that involved memory boxes. There were several boxes that had items in them related to different themes, such as school days. I can't remember exactly how it went or the different themes and items that went with it. If anyone has any ideas, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks for your help. I am sure to have many more questions as time goes on, and I know I can always come here and find the answers I need.
