We are seeking a bright, energetic and charismatic CTRS to provide education and training in metropolitan Chicago nursing homes. Geriatric, psychiatric and chemical dependency experience are necessary. Excellent teaching and communication skills necessary. Expertise and familiarity with federal long-term care regulations (OBRA), the IDPH state standards, Subpart S (psychiatric standard) and the MDS+RAPs and care planning is required. Geriatric and psychiatric experience necessary, as well as familiarity with the mentally ill substance abuser (MISA) client. The position requires travel within the city and suburbs.
