One of our co-workers was diagnosed with cancer and to show our support along with having a spaghettie benefit dinner we had a hair raiser. For three days we had people from the community and work come in and get their hair cut for the Locks of Love foundation. Our beautician from the facility donated her time and did all the cutting and styling for free! She even let me cut her hair, yikes. I have never in my life had short hair, 2 twelve inch ponytails later, my hair now stops at my ears. It was a great event and all for a great cause. We as AD are always looking for others to help us, this is a good way for us to help others. The publicity we got is also a bonus, I now have many people calling to volunteer after they saw all of us in the paper holding our hair in our hands.Plus it just makes you feel good! :-D Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
