Guest Guest_Pat8231 Report Share Posted March 23, 2006 Sorry I'm having sign-in problems. I tried posting a "New Topic" but no can do. Sooooooo - Got a question. I started a new program at my ALF - we sit around chatting about the "good old days", talked about everything - soup to nuts. The group was growing in number, especially the men were getting involved. This group was at the same time as knitting group. I noticed that my group was not on the BB in the lobby, I asked why and I was told "forgot to put it down", so I put it on the BB. My AD came by and asked me why was I doing that, told her because it wasn't put down. She told me the group was cancelled for good that the knitting group (resident lead) complained to the administrator that my group conflicted with her's. Not one of the knitters were in my group or the other way around. I felt like a complete fool because early during the day I told "my group members" what the topic was going to be for that day. Fair? Not a word was said to me about it earlier during the day. I feel like my time and effort to do research on topics of interest was a waste of time. Am I wrong or just feeling insecure?
