Hello everyone! My name is Sherrie and I am currently taking my MEPAP 1. I have 2 weeks to go! Yea!! I have learned a lot and I feel that this course is helping me to prepare for my career as an activity professional. I have been working at a skilled nursing facility for 7 years now. I worked as a dietary aide for 3 years. When they had an opening in the activity department, I applied and now here I am 4 years later. I love my job. I currently work with our memory care residents. It is a lot of work but it is so worth it. The course that I have been taking has been very informative and helpful. To be honest the hardest thing about the course is managing my time. I work fulltime, I have no internet at home and my computer broke about 2 weeks ago. So everything that I have done online has been at work. It makes it hard to have to do my own job plus make time to work on my course. I have stayed very late at my job to do my classes and to do chats online. But I has been worth it!
