  1. Hello everyone, Let me start off by giving you some info. about myself!! I've worked in the same nursing home for 11 years, 9 of them in activities!! We are a 150 bed facility with long and short term care!! Our resident's range from vents, to bed bound, to confused with Alzheimer/dementia, to alert residents!! We have 3 wings that are separated into the 100, 200, and 300 wing!! Okay so here is where I need HELP...I have always been the assistant where we went from having 6 (including the director) in the department and then we dropped to 5, then to 4, and now we are 3!! Here's why...our Nursing home was bought by another company so we went from being privately owned to being corporate owned!! On New Year's Eve, the company I worked for terminated every single one of it's employee's and the new company had the option to re-hire most of the current staff, which happened for the most part!! The sad thing is, the Activity Director was one of the one's to be let go!! I am not the Activity Director yet but that's what the are aiming too!! I have never done the calendar!! We only did one calendar and now we are going to do two with the new company one for higher functioning one for lower functioning! I need help with new activities, examples of calendars, examples of 1:1 sheets, par sheets, exactly what is required to be included into the progress notes, etc. Any help will be greatly appreciated!! Sorry if I talked in circles, but I have been stressing over this big time!! I have not been able to sleep and everytime I think of what happened I have gotten sick to my stomach!! My boss left me in between a rock and a hard place!! The calendar for the month of Jan. is not done, she left me all of her skilled progress notes which I went from having 4 notes to do to having 16, etc. HELP!!!!!
