It is my understanding as well that we are required to hold monthly resident council meetings as well as offer family council meetings. We have been somewhat successful by having the activity staff lead the meeting with permission of the resident council pres. We also jump around by halls asking that west hall meets in January, West hall February etc and then once all halls have held their individual council meeting we hold an all hall meeting in our activity space led by our director of social services. Our family council meetings are held by our executive director and he has had no turnout. I'm not sure if that's good or not : )

59 Nursing Beds 1 bed currently open 122.5 hours including the chaplain but not the activity director It varies each night but typically Mon-Fri there is an activity until 8pm. Weekends are tought. I have to split one staff member their full shift in 2 days. Sat they would work 4 hours. Sunday 31/2 AD is 37.5 hours

Hello all! This is Jessica from little ol Lititz, PA The home of Wilbur Chocolate, Sturgis Pretzels and the Moravians! I am new to the field of activities, being hired as an AD just in July. Needless to say there were a lot of things I had to learn the hard way. I was in the position for not even an hour and new I made the right move and I was meant to do this! I decided it was time to start the official process to becoming an ADC so here I am!
