I have a very simple Activity In service/ Orientation Guide I made for my center if you would like I could e-mail it to you and you will have some guidance. Basically it is about making sure the hole center acts as a community and everyone is involved in activities from the administrator to the housekeeping department because it is everyone's responsibility, to enforce that, one person from each discipline is scheduled on the calendar each month to have an activity with the residents. To break the ice before the orientation we play some team building exercises, and then of course I remind everyone why we are supposed to be here, which is to maintain and improve the quality of our residents lifes.
