Hello Everyone, My name is Robin Atwood. I live in Muleshoe, Texas. I have worked at Parkview Nursing Care Center for 10 years. But not in Activities. I was a laundry aide. This past December our new Administrator made me housekeeping/laundry supervisor. Than she started talking to me about taking over the Activity Department. Our Activity Director will be retiring June 30th, than I will be taking over July 1st. So another exciting big change in my life with be happening. I am nervous and I am looking for tips and new ways to connect with my residents. Our current activity director is stuck in the same monthly schedule, every month and the new administration wants the activity department updated, with new ideas and new programs. No pressure there.
