I had this problem before so what I would suggest is have a meeting with your administrator and the director of nursing and tell them about your concerns.

At our facility we play bingo 3 times a week. They love it so we do quarter bingo, snack bingo, prize bingo. bingo bucks, and beanie bingo.

I am learning how to do progress notes on new admits. What should that note include.

Hi Stephanie, I am in the MEPAP I-100714. I work in long term care I was an activity assistant for 5 years. I am acting activity director right now but upon completion of this course I will be the activity director. I have already notice that I don't get to spend time with the residents like I use to I really miss that part of my job. There is lots of paper work even though we have point click care it is still very time consuming.

Hello everyone my name is Connie Deel I am originally from Kentucky but moved to Ohio 6 years ago with my husband to start a new church plant. I have been an activity assistant for 5 years . I am in the MEPAP1-100714 class I am in week 12. I have learned so much. Upon completion of this course I will become the new activity director for now I am the acting activity director assistant. I am looking forward to this new position. One of the challenges I face is getting new admits to participate in activities they seem interested when I talk to them but when I ask for them to come they refuse . Can anyone give me some ideas on how to encourage them to take part.
