I agree with Joy. At my old facility we had a small closet I was able to utilze and we even had the resdents volunteer to help run it. I kept mostly things that they may need or want such as nice bodywashes, lotions and shampoos. I also carried cards for occassions like birthdays, anniversaries ect. At my current facility we ave a "Traveling Store", We carry many of the same items on an activity cart twice a month. Another option is to see if you can find a visiting store. I work in one SNF that had a vendor come in that sold everything for under a dollar.
